» Interchange Program
The interchanges sponsored by The Friendship Force is based on daily relationship between a visiting family - called Ambassadors and a host family – called Hosts. For one week, the ambassadors live the experiences and routines of the host family, sharing knowledge on their personal and professional lives, and about their country. Usually the visiting Club is hosted for one week by a Club of one city and a second week by another Club of another city.
During the exchanges are developed social and cultural programs, sightseeing and tours out in the region, as well as visits to the local authorities. These programs are organist and escorted by the hosts (those that are housing) and by some other members of the Club acting as "day hosts" or hosts for one day.
There four types of exchanges:
Nationals
Internationals
Youths
Professionals
